It all began in 2005, during the rising interest in Korean drama and music in Hawaii.  Back then, Beauty Touch shops located at Daiei (currently Don Quijote) were pioneers in selling K-drama DVD sets and K-pop music CDs, along with exclusive Korean cosmetic brands in Hawaii since 2003.  

During the Spring season of 2005, Beauty Touch Tours was established to escort 12 of our VIPs to Korea for a 9-night, 10 days trip. Cherry Blossom was in full bloom and we traveled from Jeju island to Busan, Gyeongju, and to Seoul.  The real highlight for our members was meeting with KIM BUM SOO, one of Korea’s premier vocalists and the first ever artist to hit the U.S. Billboard chart, during the final days on tour.  All thanks to our special group, Beauty Touch Tours continued serving Hawaii with travel to Korea until 2010.    

In 2010, we acquired KJ International Corporation, expanding to the broadcast media business with Radio Korea Hawaii on AM1460, and developed a new brand for travel services called, Discover Digest Tours, offering travel services to Asia. We also have our own, a locally produced travel TV show on KHII, channel 5. Currently, Discover Digest offers Fully Escorted Tour Packages and Partially Escorted Tours. Plus, a small group tour package catering to your specific needs.
